It sure is soul cleansing to be so free. Free to travel in any direction. Free to think as you feel, stop and check anything out you wish, eat as you wish, jog any place you want, move at a pace you desire..... and free to fly low with the tree tops or as high as the highest cloud.

I was driving down a small Georgia back road and came upon a very old church. A church so old, Benjamin Franklin could have attended here. 😊

This church caught my attention as I drove by. I had to turn around and "feel" it.

It was getting ready to fall down soon. Many windows were broken out and part of the side door was missing. I tried to resist the feeling of needing to go inside, but it was too strong.

I crawled through the damaged door and went inside. It was so strange to be in a place where so many souls had gotten closer to God. So many years, so many joyful tears were shed here. It was a powerful emotional feeling to stand and "listen" to the sounds.

The place where the preacher stands, looked like he just finished a sermon. I walked up and right there laying open was a hymnal book that read "Jesus Saves". Imagine that. In an old church littered and damaged that was over 100 years old, there were the words for me to read "Jesus Saves". Powerful!

I took a few pictures and went back outside. I wandered over to the newer and only grave that was there. It had a big tombstone that had a beautiful picture on it of a beautiful soul. The words were very very powerful as she had left advice for all of us behind to read.

As I read these words I could hear a sweet sounding female voice telling me that everything is going to be alright and to continue to live as much as possible.

She left some very motivational advice that I will do my best to follow. Here name was Wendy.

As I drove away from the sacred piece of land, I felt refreshed, touched and left with a warm feeling of happiness.

May God Bless Us All!
